Marketplace API

In order to assign the tracking information to a shipment and its corresponding order, the order management system has to pass the knowledge about the order and shipments to the CXC. For this you can use the Marketplace API.

INTEGRATION GUIDES


Track & Trace Widget

Beside the direct API integration for requesting the status of shipments, we offer in addition a frontend widget, which handles the visualization of the tracking information. See the integration guide of the Track and Trace Widget for further details.

WEBHOOK


In case you want to proactively inform your customers about the status of their shipments, you can receive HTTP notifications sent by the CXC to the API endpoint of your choice. See the Webhook specification for details.

Keep in mind that you have to provide the URL to which the CXC will send the requested status updates. This can be achieved by using the Marketplace API. In there you'll find dedicated fields for providing notification related values and among them the field for the webhook URL.
